Today I’ve something really special for you and that is “Blunder Balls” yes it’s the recipe’s name that I’m going to share today(an interesting story is there behind this name and I’ll tell you that later someday.
Its a kind of snacks which is perfect for windy and rainy days.
Let’s get started.

Blunder Balls

Ingredients-
Chopped onion-1
6 cloves of garlic
Cumin seeds
Oil-1 tsp
Salt as per taste
water
APF-1 1/4 Cups
Maggie Masala-2 tbps
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala-1/2 tsp

Chop onion and garlic
Add cumin seeds and 2 tsp water
Now grind them

Make a paste like this
In a kadhai pour 1 cup water
Add 1 tsp oil and salt (as per your taste)
and let the water boil.

now add your APF and mix them
And WAIT!! Now add your onion paste and give a good mix.

It’ll look like this when you transfer to a different bowl. Let it rest  atleast for 10 mins.

Take a small portion of it and give it a ball like shape.

Now fry them

In order to make the masala,we just need-

Maggi masala-2 tbsp
Chaat masala-1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
(You can increase or decrease the quantity of chilli powder)

Mix all of these.
Now add fried balls into the masala and toss them gently to coat the masala.

And your chatpata and full of flavor blunder balls are ready.

Poita Bhat

Is there anything better than this beauty to fight with this scorching heat?
A platter full of emotions.
It is a rice-based dish, which is consumed by the people of Assam and other states of east India. It is prepared by soaking leftover rice in water overnight.

Let’s see what’s on my plate
• Poita Bhat
• begena pitika(mashed egg plant)
• aloo pitika (mashed potatoes)
• boiled egg
• bhoot jolokiya
• piyaj(onion)
• kaji nemu
.
Poita bhat is so refreshing that people in Assam like to have this in breakfast in order to get rid of this scroching heat. The poita bhat(in the bowl) is accompanied by some really simple items which are easily available.

In frame-Poita bhat/Paanta bhat/Pakhala.
